Create Construction and Niveda are to host a Topping Out ceremony at their Norton Street development in Liverpool on the 4th March, hosted by key members of their Management teams. Guests include representatives of the Funding, Design, Construction, Project Delivery and Subcontractor teams, as well as members of the Industry Press. The occasion promises to be a memorable celebration of the achievements of all concerned, as the building reaches its maximum height, with the installation of the top level.
The two companies are proud to be delivering this new prestigious student accommodation project, situated close to both John Moores University and The University of Liverpool Campuses. Once complete, the new Calico building will offer 220,000 square feet across 2 blocks of 8, 11 & 15 storeys. The accommodation will include social areas, gym, laundry and ground floor retail units and will benefit from on-site operation, management and lettings by Fresh Student Living.
Bhavik Jayendrakumar Shah, Director at Niveda Group commented: “The topping out ceremony marks an exciting milestone for the construction of Calico and we are thrilled to see how well it is progressing. Calico is an important scheme for our organisation and an exciting addition to Liverpool, where there is high demand for quality student accommodation. This innovative scheme has already proven highly desirable by both local and international students looking for the best student accommodation experience in town.”
Create Construction have brought to the table their considerable experience in the delivery of high-volume accommodation – and continue to extend their pipeline of work as the company continues its impressive growth, including a recently secured second student accommodation project in Renshaw Street, Liverpool for Niveda, due for completion August 2020.
Adrian Tottey, commented: “It is fantastic that we have reached the topping out stage on this project for Niveda and Fresh. Our company values of ‘Integrity’, ‘collaborative’ and ‘easy to do business with’ has allowed us to build a significant relationship with Niveda, which I hope will continue for many years to come.”
